Original work and clear permission
Our generic shirt illustrations are original visual studies. They are labelled as illustrations and are not photographs or exact depictions of the archived garments.
Photographs are displayed after an editorial permission check. Images with unconfirmed permission remain outside the public gallery while their source and publishing rights are reviewed. A source credit describes where a photograph came from; it does not replace permission.
Sharing a photograph
Please identify the photographer, explain your authority to permit website display and provide the credit and any applicable licence terms. Do not submit material you cannot authorise us to publish.
Corrections and concerns
If a credit, attribution or publishing right needs review, contact [email protected] with the relevant page URL and supporting details. We review concerns and can suspend an image while checking the information.
Submitting a collection story does not make the contributor an official representative of any club or brand.
